Metro Art Moves - Spanish and English Language Metro Art and Architecture Tours

Metro Art Moves is a free series of regularly scheduled and special tours of artwork in the Metro Rail system. Regular tours are led by trained Metro Art Docent Council volunteers and provide insights into the artworks, artists and art-making processes. Special tours heighten the passenger experience in novel and engaging ways through the perspective, experience and knowledge of artists and cultural experts. Tours are free. Reservations are not required.

Union Station Tours

Second Sunday (6/12, 7/10, 8/14, 9/11, 10/9, 11/13, 12/11)

10:30am - 12:30pm

Begins at the information booth inside the Alameda Street entrance to historic Union Station

Led by trained Metro Art Docents, the tours will cover historic Union Station art, architecture and spaces not generally open to the public, including the Historic Ticketing Hall and former Fred Harvey restaurant. Additionally, the tours will explore artworks located in the Gold Line Portal, Union Station East and inside the Metro Gateway Headquarters Building.

Dirigido por guías calificados de Metro Art, los tours abarcan el arte, arquitectura y los espacios no abiertos al público del histórico Union Station, incluyendo la histórica sala de billetes y el antiguo restaurante Fred Harvey. Además, los tours exploraran obras situadas en el portal de Metro Gold Line, el este de Union Station y dentro del edificio central de Metro Gateway. Los tours son gratis. No se requieren reservaciones. Los tours se reúnen en la caseta de información dentro de la entrada de la calle Alameda del histórico Union Station.
