The 12th edition of LACLA's Student Film Festival will be held for the first time at the Luckman Fine Arts Complex on the campus of California State, Los Angeles on Sunday, MAY 19, 2019.

As a means of encouraging and acknowledging young artists, our festival features short films by students from various high schools and media programs of the greater Los Angeles area.

LACLA will provide every student featured in the program with a commemorative t-shirt and a $25.00 stipend to directors. Three winners will be selected for Best Film, Best Documentary, and Most Creative. Prizes will be announced at a later date. We will also be continuing our college and film program fair and a filmmakers discussion. A light lunch and refreshments will be provided to all who attend during the program’s intermission. I hope you can join us again this year!
